Pumpkin Patch

Last Thursday our PAFT group headed to the local pumpkin patch. It was a bit cold, wet, and muddy! However, we decided to brave the elements and pick out a very special pumpkin. I don't think we took Lydia last year probably because she wasn't a big fan of being held and preferred to walk on her knees. This year I really wanted to go. I thought she would really enjoy it and she of course did not disappoint.

Kane has been working crazy hours this month so there was never a good time to go as a family. Hopefully next year he can come with!

Each child got to pick out one pumpkin. I thought Lydia had hers picked several times. I guess she is just as indecisive as her mother!

Lydia picked up this little guy and said yucky!
Finally she selected a pumpkin! I think she really liked this one. All afternoon she pushed it around in the stroller. What a little character.

Favorite Shirt :)

Lydia's favorite shirt...she just loves to wear this! If she sees it she just HAS to wear it. Kane found it at a consignment shop for $2 and thought she needed it. I thought sure, it will make a great play shirt. However, it has become a shirt that she wears anywhere and everywhere.

Not sure what this new "cheese pose" is...we have been suffering from a runny nose?!?!
Every time she wears this she has to point at the tractor and say it numerous times. She also like to say daddy or papa. They drive green tractors just like this)
AND I wonder why people thinks she is a BOY! Oh, well :)

Nap Time

Today Lydia was more than ready to take a nap and so was her mother! She really hasn't been feeling great and was being a little fuss pants. However, the only problem was she insisted on having every stuffed animal, baby doll and blanket in her crib. Not to mention a couple of books and a slippy cup. She absolutely through a fit when I tried taking some of the things out...so, I just left everything in there and make a little ditch for her to lay in.
Standing on the side..loading things in :)

Where is she going to fit?
Once she fell asleep I went in there to clear out some of the toys...big mistake, she woke up and wanted one of the baby dolls back. I guess I should be happy that she didn't want everything back!!! I am going to have my hands full with this little darling :)

15 Weeks

Sunday I was 15 weeks! I know you are thinking..wow..only 15 weeks. I did look back at pictures and this was roughly the size I was maybe at 20 weeks. SO, things are defiantly expanding a little quicker this time around. Which I knew would be the case! But, really I had to start wearing maternity clothes at 12 weeks not 20 like the first time. I guess my body remembers the drill :) I am feeling great and loving every minute!

Big Sister Material

Yesterday, after nap time Lydia wanted me to help her put a diaper on her "baby". Anyone that has spent anytime with the little darling knows that she is obsessed with babies. She just loves them to pieces. After I helped with the diaper I continued picking up her room and she went across the hall to the spare bedroom. This is how I found her. She was trying very hard to take off and put back on the diaper. I later found her with wipes out cleaning her baby--it was too cute. I'm hoping she will be a big help when baby #2 comes home in March.

I just love that smile and those eyes!
